Santa Fé

In the center of the country, and only 475 kms far from Buenos Aires, the province of Santa Fe features a scenery rich in natural resources and an interesting touristic and recreational offer that comprises activities like sport fishing and hunting, recognized golf courses, cultural and rural tourism, nice beaches andbeautiful cities, worth to be visited.

Rivers Paraná, Salado, Carcarañá and Coronda, together with important lagoons, constitute the province’s main natural attraction. Sport fishing can be practiced along its more than 700 kms of coastlands. The city of Reconquista, 350 kms distant from Santa Fe city, hosts the Surubí Fishing Argentine Contest, the most important sport fishing tournament in Argentina. Paraná river’s banks have dense vegetation and a varied bird fauna comprised by more than 300 bird species, being perfect for photographic hunting andwatching. The strong influence of agricultural activities invites tourists to visit the most traditional producing circuits as for instance, the tambo (dairy farms). Its history and the strong marks left by the Spanish culture can be found in places like Cayastá, with the ruins of Santa Fe La Vieja, National Historic Monument. The most important urban centers are its capital city, Santa Fe, and Rosario.
